Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgThe majority of robot vacuums best vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using a specialized application. You can save your home's maps, set up cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power and fine tune the amount of water and the scrubbing action of your mop.

A mapping function helps your robot navigate through rooms. A feature to avoid obstacles helps it avoid running over wires, furniture or even stray toys. These are essential features to have in my house, filled with toys scattered around.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the company's flagship vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It can sweep and mop in one session and can raise its mop pads and brushes to prevent soft surfaces from becoming too wet. It also has the ability to see and avoid obstacles, with the ability to spot pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robotic vacuum's maximum suction power is 6,000 pascals. This is higher than any other robot vacuum that vacuums and mops vacuum we've test so far. It is also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its position, which prevents it from becoming stuck on objects.

The mopping function is impressive and the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide an intense clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting system that will raise the pad as it moves from tile to laminate or hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing, and self-drying features. The pad can be cleaned and then dried with the dock, and the dust bin is automatically emptied and returned to it. This means that you can put it away and forget about it, only needing to clean the dust bag and refill the water tank on occasion.

All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. I ran it on its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and returned to its base for a recharge. This isn't far off from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims, and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

It's a well-rounded, Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum capable product. The only issue is that it's expensive. The sheer amount of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old mops and stick vacuums. We highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an expensive combination. Its price is justified by its impressive feature set, which includes the capacity to vacuum large volumes and two gyrating mop mops. It also has an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop combos available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed admirably throughout the entire home. It was able to remove 98.4% debris on all kinds of floors and was able to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement as well as the powerful cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling feature of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and modern. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag for dirt, refills the water tank to mop and Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum also dry your mop pads. It features a real-time risk detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris in comparison to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tried. Additionally it's not as adept at removing stubborn stains as those found in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned out and the water tank and dust bag should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to note that the mop pads which are bought separately must be replaced regularly too.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium price tag and extensive functionality, I would recommend it to anyone with the money for it. For those who are on a smaller budget, I suggest considering a less basic model that allows you to save money while enjoying the convenience of hands-free cleaning at your home. It's worth noting that even it's true that the L10S Ultra is the best robotic vacuum and mop combination you can find however, its price and ongoing maintenance will eventually make it more of a wish than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robotic mop and vacuum that can clean up dust and dirt on your floors while taking care of wet messes, then look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combination comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also boasts an enormous battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It comes with a roller-mop that cleans by itself and makes it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs of other robots. The roller is almost entire width of the robot and is continuously supplied with ozonated, clean water from its dock. As it rotates the roller, it scrubs your floors while soaking up dirt, and any dry debris is picked up by the side brushes, or swept into the front colision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the mop water that is dirty into its base station, where it is sucked up by the tank's heater elements and empty into a larger storage container. The tank that is onboard is able to hold a large amount of water and can handle up to half a dozen mopping sessions before rushing out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use straight out of the box as do most robotic vacuums/mops. The S1 Pro does need to be filled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. You can also add cleaning solution to the dock, should you prefer the option of using your own brand of cleaner. If you opt for this option however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot vacuum that vacuums and mops brands that allow you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions.

Like most robots, the S1 Pro did well in accuracy in navigation and coverage tests. It was quick to map a area and was able to navigate around furniture. The only problem is that it got stuck a couple of times on larger pile carpets and rugs in my tests however this can be fixed when the software is upgraded. The S1 Pro is a very capable all-in-one robot for a reasonable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry-level mop and vacuum. However, it still has some amazing features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as it goes. The mopping system is capable of cleaning a large portion of an area before returning to its dock and the vacuum's powerful suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is quite complex, and offers various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas that this device maps or choose individual rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've developed. There are many mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors on the mops to find the most efficient method to clean your home while it maps the area.

The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just as all Roborock models we've evaluated. Its navigation system is robust, mapping rooms quickly and cleaning them in a neat way. Its 'Normal' pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, with no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system is quite reliable, too however it's not as advanced as the color camera system of the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like carpets with thick padding, but might not be able to recognize smaller items such as rug tassels and electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this machine is the lack of a mop-after-vacuum option which could be an issue for people who are frequently vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's a simple solution to this issue: The app offers an option that allows you to "clean up" at the end of each session. This allows you to use the vacuum's mopping capability to remove the last traces of dust and debris that are left behind by the vacuuming. This is a nice feature that can help this robot keep its cleanness a bit higher than its competitors with lower prices.
