World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Upgrades increase the value of certain numeric stats on weapons, armor and rings. Upgrades also increase bonuses such as crit chance and PvE Damage.

For example, a weapon with the upgrade template that ends in % will gain 3damage to attack each time it is upgraded (relative to its previous value).

The cost of upgrading an item increases as it reaches the item's current level. The cost increases as the item level rises.

Components

Upgrade components can be incorporated into trinkets, armor, and weapons to give them a stat boost or to add an additional effect. These can be obtained through crafting, purchasing from vendors trading or looting. Some upgrades can also be accompanied by specific cosmetic effects.

Upgrade components can only be applied to equipment with a slot. The item must be at least upgraded to blue before the component can be applied. Unlike other mods, upgrade components can only be used one time; they cannot be applied multiple times or replaced with new upgrades. Infusions and enrichments are a kind of upgrade component used to upgrade non-amulet legendary and ascending equipment, as other items that are not ascended. Infusions and enrichments can be retrieved by salvaging gear that is ascended or completing an elite mission in the Prophecies, Factions and Nightfall campaigns.

An upgrade may include a suffix or prefix, modifying the name of the equipment with which it is applied (for examplethe "Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Some upgrades increase the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players to create stronger versions using the smallest amount of upgrade crystals than they require to achieve the same level using standard methods.

A boost upgrade is a way to alter the attack or defense attributes of a weapon or armor. These upgrades are available to be crafted from the Portative Forging Station once the player completes the cutscene and defeats the Crazed Mechanical. They can also be dropped by enemies when upgrading other gear, or by purchasing them from the cash shop for 500 upgrade crystals per.

The player can get a maximum of five boost upgrades at one time; each upgrade increases the chance that a higher-tier version of the item will appear during the next reset. This gives the player some incentive to keep upgrading their gear even if they're uncertain of the extent to which it will increase after a future reset.

The process of upgrading an item upgrader mod can be costly and it is likely that the item will be obsolete, or even break, if the upgrade is unsuccessful. Upgrade Crystals and assist powders are also destroyed when an upgrade fails. Cash shop items can be used to decrease or eliminate the possibility of failure. Certain upgrades also provide an additional bonus when reinserted.

Glyphs

Glyphs can be used to enhance the Paragon Board by placing them in sockets that are specifically designed for. Glyphs increase the effectiveness of all nodes in a radius around them as well as existing affixes on equipment. Glyphs can be upgraded in a variety of ways. We suggest upgrading them as soon as possible to level 15.

In the endgame you'll often discover that the best way to enhance your equipment is to use Glyphs. These are the only upgrade component that can be upgraded to level 15 and give an enormous boost to your power on the Paragon Board.

The majority of upgrades in the game can be replaced but Glyphs are the only upgrade component that can be removed and put back in place without restriction. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and rebuilt by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit.

The value of each Glyph is displayed when you select it in your inventory. You can choose to replace it with another Glyph of the same rank or a higher rank, which will increase the value of the Glyph.

You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of the Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain unlimited-use gathering tools, and through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt could drop one of these Glyphs. There are some rare glyphs that you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.

Once you have obtained the desired Glyphs, you will need to place them on your gear. Each Glyph will unlock a unique bonus that boosts the stats of a specific set of nodes in the vicinity of the Glyph. This will either be +40 for one of your primary stats, or +25 for two of your secondary stats, based on the Glyph.

Utilizing Glyphs Glyph can boost all nodes that are linked to it, and you should try to place your Glyphs near key nodes on the Graph to maximize the impact. For example an Druid should aim to place their Glyphs close to their primary damage nodes, but also consider placing them near critical damage nodes too.

Leveling

The item upgrade (https://www.metooo.es/u/670de83c169fee118a49ae9f) system allows players to increase the effectiveness of certain items by introducing upgraded components. This is also known as "upping". Each upgradeable item has a level which determines the final statistics. Upgraded items can be leveled up to a maximum level of 385. Each level of an item requires different components, and upgrade costs increase with each level.

Certain upgrades require a certain ingredient to activate. This ingredient is obtained by making Upgrade Recipes. These recipes can be found in the upgrade tab of a crafting table, or bought from NPCs. Each Upgrade Recipe that is completed earns a number of Technology Points. These points can be used to leveling up an item. When enough points have been earned you'll be able to claim the upgrade and get its extra bonuses.

When a player upgrades an item to a higher level, the original item is replaced with a different item of the same kind. This means that the same piece of armor will be transformed into the form of a shield or weapon when upgraded. The new item comes with its own set bonus. This could be a disadvantage in that the item could increase in price even if you don't require it.

Item upgrades can sometimes be rerolled, if the player has enough reroll tokens to do so. The item will be replaced with an entirely new item that has a level 1 basis and totally different bonuses. This can be useful but it should not be repeated often since it can be a waste of resources.

Certain upgrades can boost their value and allow players to personalize their gear. Dolphin's Gift is a good example, as it gives a buff if the player repeatedly enters or exits water. This item can be upgraded many times, increasing the maximum roll each time by 10 increments. This item is highly valuable in PvP. A perfectly rolled version can be worth 50 times the value of its unupgraded counterpart.

Requirements

The ability to upgrade items allows players to upgrade the level of their equippable equipment--armor, weapons, and trinkets that are above ilvl 385 by providing the appropriate items and currency to an item upgrader NPC. Upgrades to armor set pieces increase its base defense and upgrades to weapon items increase the damage they deal as well as their strength and dexterity.

All items can be upgraded up to five times, except for hero gear, which can be upgraded eight times. Each time you upgrade an object it has a chance of failing. The rate of failure increases as you move beyond the maximum number. Failures can result in the item returning to its original condition, which requires the player to spend additional resources than if they had stopped upgrading after the maximum amount.

If an item is not able to upgrade, the amount of accumulated experience in its growth bar is reset to zero. Additionally, the item level upgrade will lose any gained bonuses such as crit chance, attack damage, as well as any additional effects associated with that effect (for instance, a higher healing over time or reload speed). The player can continue to use their weapon or armor after the failure.

When an item is upgraded, the upgrades are applied from the lowest to highest. This means that the weapon that is upgraded receives a crit chance boost, the increase will be applied prior to any damage from attacks increases. A new attribute called Slots has been added to the item definition and the value is computed every time an upgrade is applied.

The amount of resources required to upgrade an item is based on the rarity rating and number of upgrade slots. The cost of upgrading non-premium equipment is equal to its value. For example an item of common use could have five upgrades at a cost of. 25600 Technology Points 4x Quality Improvement Chance. Hero grade items have a lower cost per upgrade.

Premium items may have different upgrade requirements than standard gear. For instance they may require less sowels, but they will require more minerals and orons. Regardless, the player must visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine with each piece of equipment they want to upgrade. In addition to the upgrade costs mentioned above, each upgrade will require the use of different upgrade item ingredients.
